# Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account, ensuring only you can access it. With Ospree’s email-based 2FA, logging in is both simple and secure.

### Steps to Activate 2FA

### Access Security Settings

* After verifying your email, click on the **Profile Icon** in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
* From the dropdown menu, select **Profile** and then click on the **Security tab.**

### Turn on 2FA

* On the **Security Page,** locate the **Two-Factor Authentication** section.
* Toggle **2FA ON** to activate it. From this point on, when you attempt to log in, you will receive a unique confirmation link via email.<br>
