What is an Account at Ospree?

In Ospree, an account represents a legal entity or individual within Ospree’s customer ecosystem, maintained in the platform for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Each account stores essential details required for Travel Rule compliance, including:
Entity type (e.g., individual, business, VASP)
Originator or beneficiary details (e.g., name, address)
Account status (e.g., active, on hold)
Accounts are used to associate wallet addresses, store, and standardize the required data for initiating Travel Rule transfers, minimizing the risk of blocked or rejected transactions due to missing information or compliance issues. They can be created and managed via API or the Ospree Console.
